Bobby N. Powell

Bobby N. Powell, age 72, of Richmond, Va., formerly of Freeman, Va. passed away January 22, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel L. and Ellen M. Powell; and all of his siblings. He is survived by his wife, Laura Powell; daughter, Brandy Doyle (Geoffrey); stepson, Adam Meador (Lisa); four grandchildren, Adam Meador, Aubrey, Maeve and Samuel Doyle; several nieces and nephews and his faithful companion, “Fifi” who spent many hours by his side. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am, Saturday, at Williams Funeral Home, Lawrenceville, with interment at Reedy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Freeman, Va. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
