Arthur Bradbury Spain

Arthur Bradbury Spain, Jr., 70, of Colonial Heights, known as "Doc" by family and friends passed away on February 7, 2023. 

Born March 21, 1952, he was the son of the late Arthur Bradbury Spain, Sr. and Ganell N. Spain.  A graduate of Colonial Heights High School, Doc was best known for being the owner and operator of Doc's Chimney Sweeps. 

He is survived by his daughter, Karyn Gordon and husband James, grandchildren, Thomas "Ross" Gordon and Kendall Gordon, sisters, Patricia Coghill and Betty Hunt, and four nieces. He is also survived by his loving American Eskimo dogs April and Robin. 

A private service will be held.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. or another animal rescue of your choice.
