Allen Stephen Kidd

Allen Stephen Kidd was born on February 16, 1982, in Richmond, Virginia. He passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 13, 2024.

He was a lifelong resident of Brunswick County, Virginia. Allen was a graduate of Brunswick High School, Class of 2000. Later in life he decided to further his education at Southside Virginia Community College, earning his Associates Degree in Criminal Justice. Allen graduated with honors. He was on the President’s list and was a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.

Allen was a devoted partner and a wonderful father. He was active in the community. He was a T-Ball coach for Brunswick Dixie Youth league and was always at any school events to cheer his children on.

Allen is survived by his mother, Rebecca L. Kidd, his brother, Jamie Kidd, his uncle, Bobby Kidd (Juanita, Thomas, Craig), his significant other, Katelyn Wendland and their two children, Sophia Kidd and Maddox Kidd. He will always be remembered for his big heart and infectious smile.

On Friday, January 19, 2024, the family will receive friends beginning at 5:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home. A memorial service will immediately follow at 6:00 p.m.
