Alice Faye Clary Writtenberry

Alice Faye Clary Writtenberry, 72, of Gasburg, VA, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2018. She retired from Dixon Dress Factory in Alberta, VA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Benjamin Clary and Alice Newman Jones Clary. Mrs. Writtenberry is survived by her husband, Jesse Eugene Writtenberry, sister-in-law, Beryl J. Clary, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Olive Branch United Methodist Church, Gasburg, VA. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Central Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 386, Gasburg, VA or Gasburg Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 225, Gasburg, VA 23857. Williams Funeral Home, Lawrenceville will be handling the arrangements.
