Alease Clarke Phillips

Alease Clarke Phillips, age 106, of Triplet, VA, passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George Washington and Emma Norwood Clarke, her husband, Isaac Edward Phillips; a son, James Anderson Phillips and wife, Judy, one brother and three sisters.

She is survived by her sons, Carlton C. Phillips and wife, Linda, Homer E. Phillips and wife, Shirley, and William Cecil Phillips and wife, Brenda; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers from Greensville Health & Rehab Center and Hospice of Virginia who lovingly cared for her during her stay there.

A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 27, 2023 at Philadelphia United Methodist Church, Triplet, VA, followed by interment in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m.
